My storyboard aims to address the role of international media in selective coverage and choice phrasing that plays into the larger system of corrupt international aid in times of conflict. Through three examples, I’ve juxtaposed hypothetical media headlines. This highlights inequivalent responses to humanitarian crises such as the example of refugee support. The concluding board is a depiction of the United States, United Nations, NATO, and global media choosing to highlight Ukraine in the international community. It is a commentary on the global power dynamics dictated by the few in charge.
