In this cartoon, by following the life of an individual from birth to adulthood, I attempt to convey how war and its consequences truly affects people. I also attempt to depict the way in which the peace which is constructed following conflicts, whilst often satisfying to international organizations and outsiders, can be virtual to victims of conflict, as the boundaries and issues they previously faced remain unresolved.
